Mild Bill’s Competition Chili Recipe

(Times stated for a 2pm Turn-In)

11:30 a.m.-
Brown:
2 lb cut meat or chili grind in 1 tsp. Crisco
Add to boiling mixture of:
1 can beef broth
1 can chicken broth
sausage ball (1/4 lb Jimmy Dean Hot)
1 jalapeno pepper and 1 Serrano pepper

12:00 p.m. – Add Spice Jar #1
1 Tbsp beef bouillon
1 tsp chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp Taos Lightning
1/8 tsp Cayenne
2 tsp onion granules
1 tsp Hungarian paprika
1 tsp Pacific Beauty paprika
2 tsp Hatch Mild Chili Pepper
2 tsp Dixon Medium Hot Chili Pepper

12:30 p.m. -Add 8 oz. can Hunt’s No Salt added Tomato Sauce.  Remove sausage and peppers

1:15 p.m. – Add Spice Jar #2
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp San Antonio Original Chili Powder
2 tsp 61 Mild Chili Powder
1 tsp Santa Fe Chili Pepper
1 tsp Pasilla Chili Pepper
2 tsp garlic granules
2 tsp cumin
¼ tsp black pepper

1:40 p.m.– Add Spice Jar #3
1 tsp 61 Mild Chili Powder
1 tsp Hatch Mild Chili Pepper
1 tsp San Antonio Dark Chili Powder
1 tsp Dixon Medium Hot Chili Pepper
1 tsp brown sugar
¾ pkg Sazon Goya

Adjust w/ lime for heat. Turn it in….
